Caltech Scavenger Hunt

ISP will help you get into teams at 11:00 AM and will release your teams to start the Hunt!

This game will help you discover the secrets of Caltech and help you begin to feel comfortable navigating your way around campus. The Scavenger Hunt will lead you to various locations around the Caltech campus. You will be provided with a map to assist you and you can also access the online campus map. At each location you will be asked to answer questions and a take a photo. The answers to the questions can only be found by visiting each location. You must also take a team photo at each location. Points are given for partial completion, so complete as many tasks as you can without spending too much time in one place.

Ways to Win
Teams can "win" the Scavenger Hunt in a number of ways:

1. Best Team Photo (most creative and original, will be posted on the website)
2. Most Locations Visited (photo evidence required)
3. Most Creative Team Name
4. Most Correct Answers

Photos
Each location must be documented by a team photo that includes all but one member of your team in each photo. Be creative!
Email your team's one best (and only one) photo to [email protected].

Time
You have approximately 1.5 hours to complete the Scavenger Hunt. Try to visit as many locations as possible to answer as many questions as you can within this time limit. Note: It may be advantageous to visit the locations in a different order than they are given!

Tie Breakers
Bonus Questions and/or the team's finish time will be used as a tie breaker.

Helpful Hint: Mountains are to the north of Caltech.
