Intercultural Discussion Group
Mondays | 12:00 - 1:00 PM | Center for Student Services, 2nd Floor
The Intercultural Discussion Group (IDG) provides a supportive environment that encourages conversation to increase cross-cultural awareness, empathy and respect. Emphasis is placed on building friendships by sharing the challenges and successes many international students experience in the United States.
Students share why they participate in IDG:
“IDG is a great way to unwind, meet people, laugh about common experiences, learn from others, and just have fun."
Yazan, graduate student from New Zealand
"Through these discussions, I've made great friends with people whose names and countries I could not even initally pronounce correctly."
Kim, undergraduate student from Malaysia
Intercultural Discussion Group (IDG) is co-hosted by the International Offices and the Counseling Center.
