IDG is a great way to unwind, meet people, laugh about common experiences, learn from others, and just have fun.
First Wednesday of the Month: Intercultural Discussion Group (IDG) provides a supportive environment that encourages conversation to increase cross-cultural awareness, empathy and respect. Emphasis is placed on building community by sharing the challenges and successes many international students experience in the United States. IDG provides a safe space for international students to explore a variety of topics, such as navigating power dynamics, incorporating one's cultural traditions into life in Pasadena and beyond, mental health and wellness concepts and practices, family life and expectations, managing feelings around immigration, and much more.
