Social Life
Develop a New Social Life and Start Networking. One of the best ways to deal with culture shock and learn more about U.S. culture is to get involved and participate in the varied social and cultural events offered on the Caltech campus. It's also the best way to meet people and make friends. There are multiple kind of activities offered for scholars and for their spouses/partners.
These activities are usually free, some require a nominal fee.
